It was a great weekend for your Eagle Archery Team! They won the Future Champions Kickoff Classic with a season high score of 3402. Also many individuals won awards. Walker Smithson won first place shooting a 295 and Tyson James was second with a 292. AnnaLee McRae won first place shooting a 291 and Riley Bramley was second with a 287. Fantastic job team!

Congratulations to the archery team this weekend! They took first place in both tournaments and had multiple individuals win honors.
For the bullseye tournament, Lucas Hembree was 1st overall shooting a 292, Tucker Robinson was second shooting a 290, and Walker Smithson was 3rd shooting a 288. Riley Bramley was 2nd shooting a 284 and AnnaLee McRae was 3rd shooting a 282.
For the 3D tournament, Tucker Robinson was first shooting a 291, Tucker Drake was second shooting a 287, and Lucas Hembree was 3rd also shooting a 287. Katie Holmes was first shooting 288, Riley Bramley second at 284 and Jayden Friedrich 3rd at 283.
What an amazing showing from our Eagles!!

Congratulations to the Archey team! They took second place this weekend in the GH Raider Bash. They also had several individuals take home awards! Tucker Robinson was 1st overall and Tyson James was 3rd overall, shooting a 294 and 290 respectively. Katie Holmes was first overall female shooting a 287.

Menus for January 26 through January 30, 2026
Please note: Since we were out Monday and Tuesday, our grocery truck didn't deliver, and we will have a lot of changes to our menu. We will run out of some things and may only have one entree some days. Hopefully, next week will be back to normal. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Thursday's menu should be cheeseburger or hot dog with some sort of potato option (baked potato, hash brown, potato wedge) and baked beans.
Friday we will start the day with assorted pizzas and end with pizza crunchers with pb&J as the second option for the day.

This past week, Vinemont Eagle Band Students participated in the Cullman County Honor Band at Wallace State Community College by preparing an audition amongst their peers in Cullman County and Cullman City.
Students Abigail Wang (clarinet), Grady Tankersley (mallets), and Brianna Baker (flute) earned first chair in their section.
Rayne Baker (clarinet), Luke Wang (snare),
Stevi Worthington (mallets), and Sophia Veal (alto saxophone) earned top 25% in their section. Fellow participants are Emi Heaton (alto saxophone) and Yolanda Andreas (trombone).

The Midwinter Masquerade is Saturday in the VHS gym! Tickets will be sold at the door for $25.
We will have free masks at the ticket table, for anyone who wants one.
If any student is bringing a guest who is NOT a VHS student, the Guest Form and copy of guest's photo ID must be turned in by Thursday. Those can be picked up in the office. Return them to the office or email to Mrs. James at jenniferjames@ccboe.org by Thrusday.

Seniors participated in an interactive reading of The Polar Express today. Thank you to those who volunteered to be a character and even those we had to voluntell! They got hot chocolate, Christmas cookies, and their own bell to take home.
