Our honors chemistry class visited Sloss Furnace today. They learned how iron ore is made, made iron art, and learned about the history of Birmingham. Go Eagles!

We are fortunate to have such a dedicated community that consistently goes above and beyond to enhance our events. We are excited to announce that our Homecoming Freedom Fest Parade and celebration will take place on campus on September 19th from 6 PM to 8 PM. A map for the parade is attached for your reference.
We invite all Vinemont teams without scheduled games or practices at that time to join us in the parade, including middle school and youth teams. Please note that this is a free community event and is not intended as a fundraising effort. Any churches or organizations that would like to take part please contact Dr. Netherton at rnetherton@ccboe.org

Monday—WSCC Dual enrollment and fast-track courses begin. The NEW Library Ribbon Cutting will be at 1:30.
Tuesday - Seniors go to Sullivans for their senior drape pictures. We bus the girls first, then the boys.
Thursday - FIRST VOLLEYBALL GAME HOME 4:30 PM, Middle School Football Game Home at 5 pm.
Friday - FIRTS CROSS COUNTRY MEET at Cullman Track, FOOTBALL SEASON OPENER HOME VS FALKVILLE 7 PM.

The Town of Vinemont, Richard Neese, and The Man Cave are organizing a cleanup/renovation day at Henry and Rowe Wood Park between the High School and Middle School. Please come out and help us renovate this park on June 1st from 7:30 to 10:00 a.m.
