Its Spring Time! We are in the final 6 weeks of the school year, and it's the time of year when seniors typically want to leave their mark at VHS. We do not endorse any kind of senior prank or vandalism. We are going above and beyond to celebrate our seniors with a spring fling, prom, and awards day, and this year will earmark $1,000 for them to undertake a Senior Remembrance Project, allowing them to choose a project or addition to our campus that will enhance Vinemont Schools. This could be in the form of murals or other projects. The purpose of our school is not to keep them thinking like children, but to make them think like adults and professionals. It's been a great year at the Pinnacle, Go Eagles!
Our forensics classes visited the Cullman County Sheriff's Office and the Cullman County Jail today. Students learned about evidence procedures, investigations, and dispatch. They also learned about the procedures of the jail.

Prom is in less than two weeks!

Physics students designed and built a protective payload to safely house an egg, working within a strict budget to use the least amount of money possible. Like engineers at NASA, they carefully selected materials, tested designs, and made improvements to increase durability while keeping costs low. The project challenged students to apply physics concepts, think critically, and solve problems creatively while balancing efficiency with effectiveness in order to successfully protect their egg during testing. In the end, Natalie Foell and Emma Baker had the winning design.

Students in the forensics class participated in an interactive activity using ādrunk gogglesā to better understand how substances can impair vision, coordination, and reaction timeākey concepts in toxicology. The goggles simulated the effects of intoxication, allowing students to safely experience how judgment and motor skills are altered. Additionally, SRO Smith spoke to the class about DUI laws, explaining the legal consequences of driving under the influence. He also walked students through a simulated traffic stop, giving them a realistic understanding of how law enforcement handles suspected impaired driving situations.
