Students from our honors science classes had an amazing day at Southern Research. They completed the lab-Bitter Truth: A Taste of Genetics. The students stepped into the shoes of a molecular biologist and extracted their own DNA, amplified it using PCR, and visualized the results through gel electrophoresis to uncover the genetic code behind their unique taste experience. #southernresearch

Who Will You Serve?

At Vinemont High School, we believe that the more involved our students are, the better prepared they will be for life. This group has been exceptionally involved, and we’re proud of their spirit!

This week, our students have the opportunity to support our Cheer Team, Volleyball Team, and Football Team. If parents allow their students to attend these games, we want to support that decision 100%. We encourage our kids to cheer each other on as loudly and positively as possible!

Our student sections have been outstanding this year, and we want to keep that momentum going. Remember, it's never about the other team or their students; it’s about supporting our own with positive energy.

Parents, please send notes if your student needs to check out early to attend these events. As a school, we will serve our students by ensuring they continue to have rigorous yet flexible learning opportunities during these busy weeks.

Go Eagles!
